The Best Sleepover In The World!!!!!

In the weekend, I went to a sleepover... at my cousins House. His house is really cool. Did you know that you can make the couch a bed? Well you can. My cousin lives on a farm. My Uncle made a pond for the Ducks to live. My cousin has a lamb and the lamb thinks that its a cow. My Cousin lives in Awahuni. Awahuni is a small town 10cms away from Kopane and a few cms away from Palmerston North. That was the best sleepover Ever.

Here are the inscrutions to make the bed. Step 1... Take two of the couch pillows off. (Not the ones you put you head on). Step 2... Have a look at the two pillows you took off. There will be a black thing you need to unfold. Step 3... Unfold the black thingy. You will also need Muscles to lift the black thingy to make a bed. Step 4... you have a bed.

The best day in November, Athletics

Guess What:  When i did the Long Jump, at the start, I didn't push of that much, and the other times I did it, I pushed off.

What: I have done athletics this week. Athletics is fun!

So What: I mostly learned Long Jump because you have to push off.

Now what: In Long Jump I could improve on pushing my body. I only pushed my legs and not my body.

My house colour is Yellow. Go Tui!!!!!!!!!!

Sunny weekend at my cousins house

WALT: be a careful writer

In the weekend, I went to my cousins house. I saw Hally, my cousins uncle dog. I gave my cousin a present when my dad went to Shanghai in china. Then I had to go to Freyberg Pool because my cousin had to go to swimming lessons. then I went home to get my togs on and then I went to the Lido. I learned how to float on my back. First you put your head up to the roof. Second you get ready to push off. Third you push off.

DETERMINATION

 Guess What: I was really really good at taking the photos. What:I think my photo essay about determination is a clear compelling story because I think that you know where the start to the end is. So what: I learn the photo techniques. Here is a example... Slanted, Birds Eye View, Through Shot, there is 5 more. Now what: I think I could improve at the second last photo, you can't really see if balls are in there or not.

Wordpower Term 3

WALT: Type as many words as possible.

Guess What: I reach my goal to 125.

What:I have done wordpower

So What: I learn to write words in my wordpower

Now What: I hope i will get 200 words next term.

New Playground for the Juniors

I think we should have a new playground for the juniors because... the big kids always push us off the tyre swing in a mean way. In the junior playground, there will be a sigh that will say... "No Big Kids On the New Junior Playground. Thank you". I think we should have a new Playground. Do you agree? And we could have a trampoline for the first time.We promise we will be nice to each other and we will respond prople. Please please pretty please can we have a new junior playground?

In the weekend, I played play station. My favourite game is crash. I think I got 1268 coins. 

I've brought a new vehicle and a new suit. After that, I had my chinese lesson. Before I had a BBQ, I played touch. I had a sauauge for lunch and a drink of milk. Then I smashed the whole box.

Little cloud Art

 

What:
 I Did little cloud Art by Eric Carle. We used blue and white paint to make the texture of my little cloud art.
So what:
I learned how to hold a paint brush propele and learned how to do art better by standing up.
Now What:
I would do better by coming to school more because we ran out of dye and my sky is crayoned.

I have been learning to be doing over 130 words.  When I did wordpower last term, I think I had 180 words. I am very proud of my wordpower because I know how to spell a lot of words.

My dads birthday

On Thursday, it was my dads birthday. We had Kfc for dinner. My nana called Colleen, she gave the cake to us. It tasted like peaches on a hot day. It was the day when I had the sauauge and lemonade. The party was at our house. When I rang up my nana, she wasen't there but there was a man called Graham at my nanas house. When My dad got Kfc, the chips were in the chicken popcorn box. Final Comments

Ebony's Comment:
The Digi-nauts have had a fantastic term full of many great experiences to start the year off well. Swimming Sports and Buddy Challenge Day were some highlights. Our focus this term has been around building positive relationships with others. This included how the children interacted in the classroom, and creating some rules as a class that would ensure we have a positive learning space.  Starting individual blogs has also been a big part of learning about themselves as learners. Following instructions and self management has been really important to create a successful blog or e-portfolio.  You might ask your child how well they think they did with this. All the children can be proud of the persistence shown with this and support they have given one another to post, upload photos and embed codes. We look forward to sharing our learning with you.

Tane you are fantastic at following instructions and managing your learning independently. It is great that you know when to ask for help and you feel confident to do this now. You can be proud of how much effort you put into a task. Great work, keep it up!

Art

Purpose: To create a self portrait WALT: use paint and colour effectively SC: hold the fat part of the brush, paint on the tip of the brush, hold brush upright mix colours to make matching colours to our face use fat or skinny brush strokes to create each part of our face

I got a Happy meal. I got a burger chips and coke. When we finshed, we got some ice-cream. There were 6 people. With my happy meal, I got a Panda book. When the party was finshed, I ate my ice-cream at home. It was yummy! Sophie's Brother Jack is from Russell Street School. When my mum and my sister picked me up, my sister got an ice-cream too. Then my sister did not want an ice-cream because she wanted Mcdonalds too.
