WALT: set SMART Goals (camp goals)

My goal is to overcome my fear of heights. I have chosen this goal because sometimes when I am up really high, I feel sick. I know I will have achieved this goal when I don't think about getting sick. I can help myself achieve this goal by just concentrating on the rock climbing. My 2nd goal is to try new foods. I have chosen this goal because sometimes I am fussy. I'll know when I have achieved this goal when I like more foods. I can help myself achieve this goal by asking someone who has eaten the food and have a try myself

  1. Some really thoughtful goals Tane. I can relate to your first one but it sounds like you have a really good plan to help you take on the challenge. Your second goal is important, even if food isn't new but just tastes different to what you usually have. I hope you have a wonderful time at camp!

  2. Remember to share your worries with someone who can support you too Tane. It might be someone in your activity group or an adult who is at the activity. We are going to have such a great week!
